In this episode of TUMS GC, Khadijeh Zarei, a faculty member of the Pediatric and Pediatric Intensive Care Department at the School of Nursing and Midwifery, Tehran University of Medical Sciences, explains that games play a crucial role in children's growth and that their development is shaped through play. To support this, a project called the "Play Trolley" has been designed. This trolley functions as a mobile playroom in hospital wards. The trolley is three stories high, with age-appropriate play items for each ward. Additionally, music and child-friendly films are provided to create a joyful atmosphere for children. Khadijeh Zarei mentioned that to cover the costs, a campaign has been launched, aiming to expand this initiative to more hospitals with the help of the public.
