Iran is a fascinating place. Unfortunately it has been defined by its struggles with the United States. Iran knows us very well, but Americans barely know them at all. Washington, DC believes that they are terrorists, governed by an evil theocracy, dedicated to the destruction of Israel. In acting on those beliefs, the US government makes it true.
